Job Description
As a Project Manager in our ACT Construction Team, you will have the opportunity to work for a Multi-Global Consultancy among a talented group of Engineering and Project Management professionals. You will be involved in Construction projects, as they move from design through to construction.
You will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment, being part of diverse projects whilst working alongside a strong, passionate, and experienced team delivering innovative solutions.
Your day to day:
- Assisting the day-to-day management of Civil Construction projects inclusive of contract administration, supervision of construction and assisting with management of design related activities where required.
- Follow the construction plan & monitor progress (time, cost & quality).
- Monitoring construction work for compliance (engineering drawings, design specifications, owner’s standards, and statutory regulations).
- Maintaining & fostering relationships/contacts, & liaison with the Client's team on technical issues.
- Reviewing contractors’ plans & daily work schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of relevant reports including of quantities, schedules, site reports and project progress updates.
Ideally, you will have 3-5 years experience in a similar role within the ACT (or surrounding regional) market with the relevant work rights to live and work in Australia. In addition, you will also have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Project Management with demonstrated relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience in a Contracts Administration, Superintendent or Construction Engineering role ideally within a consultancy environment
- Experience in Greenfield/Brownfield Subdivision and Infrastructure projects
- An understanding of the land development process
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and delivering them on time and within budget
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with client and stakeholder/s at all levels
- Collaborative nature to be able to work in a multidisciplinary team
