We have a great opportunity for an experienced and proactive Project Manager - Construction Division, to engage with our highly experienced team along with the opportunity to develop your management skills. You will be an integral part of the ongoing development and growth of our modern inclusive business.
Key tasks & responsibilities will include:
- Control of the integral project management - Construction Division process
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Work with the site team and clients to ensure projects are delivered to the highest of standards and in their expected time frames
- Develop project or maintenance execution plans
- Ensure all client requirements and expectations of safety, quality and schedule are met
- Liaise with suppliers where necessary to effectively manage workflow
- Liaise with Finance and Project Administration staff on a regular basis to ensure all costs, variations and the like are captured, monthly claims are processed on time and budgets and profits are maintained
- Work as part of a team for project delivery
- Consult with Bridgeman management, clients and sub-contractors
- Provide reports to the Senior Management team
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Energy and experience but also new ideas, innovation and a growth mindset - a passion for Project Management (construction) and a proven ability to identify and drive continuous improvement
- Prior experience as a Project Manager in construction with a commercial builder / contractor (commercial construction projects in excess of $5m)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
- Experience in preparing variations, daily/weekly/monthly management and client reports
- Experience in managing large-scale projects
- Superior relationship management skills with the team and the clients
- Ability to juggle competing priorities to deliver to project time frames
- Strong commitment to Quality Assurance
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental practices
- A team-focus, be self-motivated and get great results via effective prioritisation of tasks and time management.
