AddressWarehouse Storeperson
Mandez Food Systems, located in Narangba, Qld, is seeking a full time store person. You will be supporting the company ensuring that all stock movements are handled efficiently, including the receiving and dispatch of freight, loading/unloading of vehicles, as well occasional external deliveries.
The Role
The primary role is warehouse duties. Reporting to the warehouse supervisor you will be expected to be responsible for stock in the warehouse. This role requires availability required from Monday to Friday and will be a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Receival of goods, with an emphasis on unloading, accurate receipting, quality checking, storing stock in correct locations and restocking shelves.
- Employ correct stock rotation principles at all times based on ‘first in first out’ rule.
- Unloading and loading of vehicles.
- Stocktaking and cycle counting.
- Maintaining and housekeeping of warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with all record keeping requirements including HACCP.
- Adhere to time management and product integrity.
- Picking and Packing and despatching orders.
- Deliver products to customers as per invoice requirements as required.
- To undertake all duties in a safe responsible and courteous manner with adherence to Safety Policies & Procedures including hazard awareness.
Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience and understanding of warehouse and transport operations.
- Forklift license and relevant experience is required.
- Must have a current clean driver’s license.
- Be physically fit, with ability for manual lift up to 25kg
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills
- Quality Assurance and HACCP experience preferred.
- Able to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
- Accurate attention to detail
