Due to exponential growth and new projects, we are seeking an experienced and capable Project Manager to join our Construction team!
Expectations of the role:
- Manage, oversee and coordinate the construction aspect of multiple property development projects
- Manage the project life-cycle meeting company and client requirements
- Finalise and close out all allocated projects once completed with feedback on productivity and commercial performance
- Demonstrate to the company’s senior management at the pre-construction stage that the project is prepared, planned and procured well in advance of committing resources to attend site
- Construction admin tasks including scheduling, procurement of materials and sub-contractors, and contract management
- Read and interpret planning and construction drawings
- Lead the ongoing refinement and management of procedures and processes as required by the business
- Oversee quality, time, and cost management procedures, and lead the team to drive appropriate processes
- Tender submission preparation and estimating
- Collaborate with the wider team to monitor WH&S aspects of each project
- Liaise and work closely with supervisors on site
Minimum requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working on residential (high end) construction projects
- A genuine commitment to strong WHS and quality management culture
- Thrive in a fast-paced & multiple project environment
- Commitment to delivering projects on time and on budget
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Capable of overseeing multiple projects from start to finish
- Capable of performing administrative aspects of construction management
- Proven leader and capable of developing a high performing team
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt their communication style as required
- Experience using construction software, scheduling and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong experience in maintaining and promoting Health Safety Quality Environment
