The Company:
They are a top 15 national well established volume homes builder.
Offices in every state 90 staff in NSW – 70 in the office and 20 Site supervisors.
This company is a high-volume builder – terraces duplexes multi dwelling – each project can be anything from 10 -100 homes.
This are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager with immediate effect.
Duties Include:
- Manage tendering process for new business including early contractor engagement and ensure processes and guidelines are adhered to
- Plan, manage and monitor detailed design and construction of projects ensuring the design, procurement and delivery processes are adhered to.
- Manage variations and progress claims.
- Ensure cost management, forecasting and reporting is completed as required.
- Identify, monitor and manage key project risks.
- Ensure a high level of quality assurance across all projects is adhered to.
- Contribute to the provision of a safe working environment by role modelling safety behaviours.
- Minimise redesign and rework during the construction process.
- Manage and coordinate a team of Project Managers, Cost Planners and Estimators.
- Build strong relationships with Construction Managers and Site Supervisors to ensure project deliverables met.
- Ensure team is adequately resourced.
- As required, assist Project Managers with any client issues when required.
Key Objectives:
- Lead and manage New Business development and Tendering.
- Lead and manage the projects division (Class 1 integrated housing developments) to ensure projects are delivered within budget, on time and budget.
- Oversee project lifecycle from new business development/tendering through to delivery and post completion.
- Manage and facilitate the design, procurement and delivery process.
- Build strong client relationships to understand and satisfy client needs.
- Manage program requirements to meet and exceed Client’s expectations.
- Monitor project division budgets, construction durations and quality of finished products.
- Implement and monitor systems and processes.
- Monthly and quarterly business reporting and forecasting
- Develop and implement improvement strategies on project and business level.
- Control risk on each project and manage client expectations.
- Training and coaching of team subordinates.
- Lead the project team to meet project objectives.
Experience Required:
- MUST have low rise class 1 residential experience.
- Must be a Senior Project manager that has managed a team of Project Managers.
- 5 years experience plus as a Senior PM.
