The Role
Due to continued growth and the retirement of some long standing members of our Estimations Team exciting opportunities have now become readily available within our Sydney Head Office based in Toongabbie NSW, for energetic and motivated Sales Estimators to join our close-knit team.
You will have a natural ability to liaise with a diverse range of clients, strengthen existing relationships and create new ones while working on some of NSW’s and Sydney's biggest and most influential current Projects.
Your duties will include but not be limited to -
- Scoping, measuring and pricing job leads from the site and office
- Preparing and issuing quotations for domestic, rural and commercial clients
- Completing tenders from inception, submission through to purchase order stage
- Converting leads into completed sales
- Working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Researching current trends and setting pricing accordingly to maximize profitability
- Using external marketing systems to source new clientele and tenders
- Completing drawings for client submissions using systems such as Autocad and Sketch Up
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years estimation sales experience - Preferably in Construction
- Demonstrated Fencing experience - Essential
- Demonstrated measurement experience - Particularly with rakes and angles
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to close sales
- Ability to read plans and complete tender processes essential
- Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- General computer literacy
- Knowledge in glass, balustrading and specialty works - Advantageous
- Experience using Autocad and Sketch Up - Advantageous
- Drivers License Essential
