SalaryWe are a leading ICT Consultancy based in Perth. Due to up coming project work we are looking to bring on an experienced Project Manager with previous experience in delivering projects within the GIS System implementation or upgrade space, ideally with knowledge of the ESRI platform and/or FME platform. This is an long-term Contract role, with an initial 12 Month contract, plus possible extension. The project will involve managing and delivering a large scale upgrade project encompasses multiple GIS and Geospatial Data systems, with significant interdependencies for one of our key government clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out initial business system audit and produce findings and recommendations.
- Produce project planning documents, including Project Initiation Documents and project plans.
- Preparation and maintaining the program and implementation plan throughout its life to ensure it reflects the approved budget, benefits etc.
- Develop and manage project delivery, schedule, project goals, scope, status and reporting,
- Manage and give direction to the vendors technical project team (Developers, BA's, Test and Support)
- Stakeholder management
- Manage vendors and sub-contractors to deliver outcomes on time and budget
- Value / benefits realisation
- Identifying and supporting business process change
Background & Experience:
- Mid Level to Senior Project Management experience
- Ideally some experience as a PM within the government sector
- Knowledge of geospatial systems, infrastructure environments, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) related applications
- Prince2 Practitioner certified
- Any Knowledge of Agile methodology

Highly Desirable:
- Experience in and the ability to undertake process modelling.
- Understanding of multi environment systems with high inter-application dependency and ability to de-risk upgrade pathways
- Any previous knowledge of ESRI products, ArcGIS and FME systems
- A tertiary qualification in spatial sciences or another relevant discipline would be highly desirable.
