The Client & Role:
Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a critical project in the field of Information Management? We are currently working closely with a utilities-based organisation seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join their team as a Project Manager. As a key member of the Information Management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of this complex project.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to identify project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
Utilize your expertise in content management platforms, such as Opentext and SharePoint, to support and optimize the project deliverables.
Demonstrate a high level of understanding of infrastructure functionality, including VMs, F5 load balancers, High Availability Racks, IIS, SSL/TLS certs, OS, storage arrays, DFS shares, SAN Storage, NAS Storage, routers, switches.
Facilitate the integration build process for SOAP and RESTful API web services, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality.
Lead and support data migration projects, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of information.
Manage large-scale projects with multiple dependencies, effectively prioritizing tasks and resources.
Engage with stakeholders at all levels, fostering positive relationships and ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
Work closely with vendors, providing direction and oversight while managing competing priorities.
Cultivate a highly collaborative and team-focused environment, promoting effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Prepare and deliver concise presentations to the Project Leadership Team (PLT), conveying project updates and key milestones.
Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
Required Skills & Specialisms:
Proven experience as a Project Manager, successfully delivering complex projects in an Information Management environment.
Strong background in both infrastructure and application deployment, ensuring the seamless integration of technology solutions.
Proficiency in content management platforms such as Opentext and SharePoint.
Deep understanding of infrastructure functionality, including VMs, F5 load balancers, High Availability Racks, IIS, SSL/TLS certs, OS, storage arrays, DFS shares, SAN Storage, NAS Storage, routers, switches.
