About the Role
The Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a wide-ranging portfolio of medium-large scale projects as part of this function. It requires a meticulously organised, performance orientated professional with a passion for delivering consistent, quality outcomes.
Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for the successful management (entire Project Lifecycle) of a wide-ranging portfolio of business-led technology projects including systems upgrades, infrastructure rollouts and upgrades, connectivity and security projects etc.
- Responsibility for managing a range of projects, providing effective leadership, management, coordination and reporting of projects under the remit of the Project Management Office.
- Effective management of project resourcing and scheduling to deliver consistently strong project outcomes – to meet agreed scope, quality, cost & timeframe expectations.
- Build and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with external and internal project stakeholders at all levels, to drive consistent, quality outcomes for the organisation.
- Work closely with a wide range of Senior/Exec stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, business-needs analysis, emerging issues, business risks and all factors relevant to support strong project delivery and outcomes for the organisation.
- Lead by example in the adoption and use of best practice project management techniques, methodologies, and tools for effective management of the entire Project Lifecycle
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or recognized qualifications in Prince 2, PMBOK or equivalent
- Demonstrated project management success in large and/or enterprise environments
- Track record of effective project management across wide-ranging, large-scale business and technology projects
- Demonstrated technical experience & understanding of information and technology systems, enterprise business systems, processes and architectures
- Demonstrated analytical & problem-solving skills, participative decision-making and negotiation
- Demonstrated experience identifying and/or implementing continuous quality improvement processes and best practice initiatives
- Outcomes focused mindset and proactive commitment to continuous service improvement and adherence to best practice principles and practices
- Successful track record engaging and working with Exec / C-Level stakeholders
