About the Role
You’ll be part of a significant program of Water Infrastructure projects.
Reporting to the Approvals Team Leader; you’ll join a team to spearhead the execution of high-level environmental advice crucial to the success of various dam improvement projects.
Your role will involve:
- Leading environmental assessments
- Managing and attaining challenging environmental approvals for various Water Infrastructure projects and programs
- Approvals coordination
- Negotiations with internal/external stakeholders including landowners, local and state governments
- Strategic development of environmental approvals
- High-level negotiations with government bodies
Skills | Experience | Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in Environmental Management, Engineering, Planning, Science, or any other related fields
- Have a strong understanding of environmental regulations
- Have strong experience in strategic oversight and experience with challenging approvals
- Experience and understanding of environmental aspects of dam planning, investigation and construction activities and relevant environmental considerations
