About the role
The Project Manager is responsible for organising and supervising trades involved in reinstatement works. The role is essential to the success of the claim and remains the point of contact for our clients , their customer and our sub-contractors. You will work closely with a number of key people to drive successful outcomes in line with industry specific KPI's and Service Level Agreements.

Skills and experience:
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Strong technical building knowledge with a qualified Carpentry Trade background preferred
- Effective time and organizational management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills with a strong sense of empathy for customer needs
- Previous experience in the Insurance Industry building is advantageous but not mandatory
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- A valid and current driver's license is essential
- Strong relationships with local trades to facilitate efficient repair processes
Role and responsibilities:
- Managing construction projects to ensure safety, cost, time, and quality objectives are met
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements
- Developing comprehensive scopes of work with accurate quotations
- Efficiently managing and coordinating sub-contractors
- Demonstrating knowledge of BCA and Australian standards
- Compiling building insurance assessment reports following industry standards and KPIs
- Acting as a liaison between insurance companies and insured homeowners
- Occasional interstate travel to other offices may be required during times of increased workload following major events
- Successful completion of a National Police Check will be necessary for this role
