If you have experience managing software development projects in R&D or high-tech environments, this Australian division of a global engineering group is seeking a talented, mid-level (e.g., 3-9 years) Project Manager to oversee a variety of leading edge, product development projects.
Join a small, Sydney based PM group working with in-house teams of software (C++), signal processing (Matlab, Python) and hardware design (FPGA, PCB) engineers on sophisticated, products. You will need to have at least three or so years managing software engineering projects, while prior experience as a software or hardware design engineer would be advantageous.
Essential:
- A computer science or engineering degree
- A project management certification
- Experience managing software engineering projects
- Experience managing product development projects
- Good budgeting, financial, and cost management skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- A track record of successful project delivery
- Experience with Agile methodologies and the SDLC
- Australian citizenship (classified technology)
Optional:
- Experience as a scrum master
- Experience in a regulated industry sector (e.g., biotech, automotive, defence)
- Experience with C++, signal processing or hardware design
