Project Manager - Logistics

About the role

We currently are looking for a Business Project Manager to identify, lead, and execute centrally-led Route projects across the Bega Logistics route network. Prioritising value adding activity and implementation of change through the state networks. Proactively identify opportunities and implement solutions to reduce cost, improve service or other agreed outcomes to increase the sustainability of the Bega route transport network.

Other responsibilities

• Deliver the project agreed initiatives across state-based route operations and through other stakeholders which may include writing business cases, cost-benefit analysis, stakeholder engagement and communication planning, activity planning, implementation and benefits tracking.
• Develop a route improvement roadmap annually and report on Route Excellence program monthly.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews within the project and take appropriate action to resolve any issues identified so that senior stakeholders have confidence that the project can deliver to time, budget, and quality.
• Support other relevant initiatives through the Bega Logistics Plan, including standardisation opportunities across the state-based operations.
• Exposure to strong change management principles.

About you

• Project Management within Transport related projects
• Experience designing and implementing process improvement, change management and governance frameworks
• Meeting targets and managing risks
• Proven communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and stakeholder engagement experience
• Have a continuous improvement and analytical mindset
• Being able to manage multiple initiatives
