The opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated Project Manager experienced in grants management to join our dynamic team! Manage prestigious projects including National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Centre of Research Excellence for Pneumococcal Disease Control in the Asia-Pacific, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and WHO funded projects. You will act as a key liaison for research support departments, responsible for administrative and financial management, ensuring successful project execution and compliance.

Your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing international research programs in Fiji and Lao PDR
- Preparing and tracking project deliverables and milestones
- Monitoring action steps and ensure timely decision-making
- Compiling and completing project and financial reporting required by funders, as required
- Managing the communication related to all aspects of the projects and serve as key link for internal and external communication
What we need from you:
- University degree in health sciences, management, epidemiology, social work, communications or similar
- At least 2 years of prior experience in project, research program management, including submitting/managing grants, budgets, legal agreements, ethics approvals and data filing
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in international environments
- (Desirable) Knowledge of public health research
