We are looking for a Project Manager to undertake a 6 month assignment with the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley through Integrity Executive.
This position will be required to manage and deliver vital projects in the Shire of East Kimberley. The role will focus on ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements as well as providing high standards of service to the organisation.
Based in Kununurra this role will be require you to:
- Provide project management support.
- Development of a project charter – identifying project constraints, goals and scope, budget, expected timeline
- Mangage the project delivery according to the project plan.
- Maintain effective collaboration between project stakeholders
- Ensure project reporting is completed including project progress reports to the client and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor all costs against the set budget associated with each civil project
The succesfull candidate should have the following skills and experience:
• High level demonstrated knowledge in, and understanding of civil engineering planning and development, strategy, processes and procedures;
• Proven experience in contract and project management, and site supervision of civil and related works, in particular drainage construction;
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance requirements are met and following all legislative requirements, grant approval terms and conditions and business practices;
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Degree level qualification/s (minimum bachelor degree) in civil engineering and/or related fields and/or equivalent industry experience;
• Business, asset and/or project management related qualifications (minimum diploma level);

- The suggested pay rate is $85 - $90 per hour (plus super). However, we are happy to present you at the rate you prefer.
