About the role?
With our pipeline of new land evolving over the next 10 years within the Redlands, this presents a thrilling and unique long-term opportunity to join our expanding team as a Project Manager for Medium Density Residential (MDR). Reporting to the Construction Manager and working closely with the Development Manager, you'll lead the charge in steering the construction of Terrace homes from concept through to completion. Additionally, this role offers the chance to engage with custom build projects, providing a diverse experience and enhancing the team's adaptability.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Active participation in the design process, ensuring value management and budget oversight.
- On-site supervision of projects to ensure quality, cost, and timeline adherence.
- Developing and implementing processes/workflows to enhance project delivery.
- Demonstrating technical expertise in construction, with a focus on problem-solving and quality management.
- Collaborating effectively with the development team and other internal teams.
- Planning programs, reporting, and ensuring projects align with Fiteni's core values and high standards.
- Developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining strict work health and safety (WHS) regulations.
- Delivering projects to the highest standard of client satisfaction and quality.
What are we looking for?
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- A solid background in site management, preferably with a carpentry trade qualification.
- Current QBCC Licence or equivalent preferred.
- Proven budget management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage projects to meet high quality and time standards.
- Proficiency in construction management software for project scheduling and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client and subcontractor relationship management.
