We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organised Project Manager - Modernisation and New Installations to join our Western Australian Branch. The role reports to the Modernisation Sales and Operations Manager and the Western Region Director. The role will be to manage the Lift Modernisation sites for the area.
The successful candidate must be experienced in all aspects of the Construction industry and prior experience in Project Management and the associate scheduling and financial reporting are a pre-requisite. Prior experience within the Lift Industry would be advantageous.
You must also possess excellent communication and computer skills and be well presented at all times. Excellent conditions and negotiable salary to reflect successful candidates experience.
The responsibilities of the successful applicant will include but not be limited to:
Duties:
- Estimating / Calculation of Project Variations
- Purchasing
- Programs & Planning
- Contract administration
- Providing all site & company documentation
- Labour Control & Forecasts
Relationships:
- As a member of the Modernisation and New Installation group, you will maintain a working relationship with other team members. Participation in team meetings to actively support and share ideas with other team members
- Facilitates the delivery of material to meet the site program by working with the purchasing coordinator
- Works with the Finance Department to resolve all contractual issues that have the potential to allow the customer to withhold payment
- Maintains working relationships and cooperates with other department when required to ensure the ongoing success of the company
The successful candidate will also need to possess the following skills and attributes:
- 3-5 years proven experience in Project Manager
- Microsoft Office proficient in Word, Excel and Project
- Well presented
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build a strong rapport with clients and colleagues alike
- SAP knowledge and experience will be highly desirable
