Data Analytics Branch
Project Manager, National Data Linkage
Senior Officer Grade B/A
Salary Range: $140,226 - $162,291 (PN: 64644)
An exciting opportunity has opened up in ACT Health’s Data Analytics Branch to lead and manage the ACT’s health data contribution to National Data Linkage initiatives.
Data linkage unlocks the value of data that we collect across many platforms, bringing together de-identified information to help us make informed decisions that create a better health system and a healthier and happier population. The ACT is working alongside other states and territories and the Commonwealth to build National Data assets that will transform the capability of data to provide actionable insights.
Strong stakeholder negotiation skills will be central to this role, as well as a highly developed understanding of data management and governance arrangements relevant to Data Linkage in the health data ecosystem. As Project Manager, you will possess a commitment to legal, safe and ethical data management and use, that aligns with the ACT’s Government’s commitment to recognising and respecting human rights.
The ACT Public Service supports workforce diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace. As part of this commitment, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, culturally diverse people and those who identify as LGBTIQ are encouraged to apply.
Note: This is a temporary position available 1 May 2024 until 30 April 2025 with the possibility of permanency. This position will be filled at either the SOGA or SOGB level, dependent on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
