About the Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager Operations, this Project Manager will form part of a larger group and be afforded the opportunity to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. This position works closely with clients to understand their needs and drives the implementation of cost effective and practical solutions.
- Provide support to the Senior Project Manager for Rig Modifications and Brownfields business development focus
- Provide input into the development of the Rig Modifications and Brownfields Business Plan
- Manage implementation
- Planning and execution of projects assigned in accordance with ICON Engineering Management System and contractual requirements
- Develop strategies and provide regular updates
- Identify and implement margin maximisation strategies on all tendered work scopes
- Manage resource requirements to maintain a high-quality service to clients and to ensure all opportunities are identified, recorded and pursued effectively
- Lead and mentor other Project Managers/Engineers to develop customer relationships and achieve maximum opportunities
- Degree qualification in civil/structural or mechanical/mechatronics engineering or qualified in Project Management
- Track record in management and delivery of multiple small offshore projects
- Detailed engineering design
- Conversant with offshore industry design codes, standards and specifications
- Proficient business development processes and building/maintaining customer and sub-contractor relationships
- Marketing, Sales and Contract Negotiation
- Business and commercial acumen
- Innovative problem solving and concept development skills
