In the role of Project Manager you will plan, coordinate and manage the concept planning, development, implementation and finalisation phases of the nominated road infrastructure project/s to ensure completion in accordance with required timeframes, cost, quality and service standards.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Plan, coordinate and manage the concept planning, development, implementation and finalisation phases of the nominated road infrastructure project/s.
- Project manage complex infrastructure projects throughout the project life cycle through the implementation of efficient procedures and best practice.
- Use your technical knowledge, expertise and leadership to co-ordinate all relevant activities to ensure successful completion of contracts within time, quality, cost and stakeholder expectations.
- Regularly monitor and report on project progress against predetermined time, cost and quality targets.
- A Bachelor of Engineering Technology or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, or acceptable equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution is a requirement of this position.
- Criminal history screening will be conducted on the recommended person for the role.
- Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.
- A reasonable amount of travel consistent with industry standards will be required throughout the operational unit and/or the State. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.
- A Diploma in Project Management and/or Frontline Management.
