About Us
Our client is a market leader in all aspects of geotechnical construction. The Regional Projects Division of the client focuses on landslip remediation and slope stabilization in Regional NSW. We provide a multitude of ground stabilization & ground support methodologies including piling, shotcrete rock bolting, soil nails & ground anchors.
The Role
· Due to business growth, we have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in civil construction to join our Regional Projects team. Reporting to the Division Manager you will lead the delivery of a major project about to commence on The Central Coast.
· A background in slope stabilization and/or road construction and civil works is an advantage.
· The plant is based in Sydney. The role will involve LAFHA for which we will provide accommodation and LAFHA allowance.
· Reporting to the Division Manager you will be responsible for:
· Project delivery according to budget, program and specific project objectives
· Claims, variations in time and further contractual obligations
· Commercial and contractual reporting
· Ensuring compliance of the works with technical specifications, applicable legislation, approvals and standards
· Conduct and administer overall job planning and programming including short range and intermediate programmes for approval
· Prepare and revise contract requirements for OHS,
· QA, programming & Environmental requirements
· Ensure all project Quality Assurance, OH&S and Environmental requirements are documented and implemented
Skills and experience:
· 4 years Project Management experience in ground engineering/civil projects
· Understanding of TfNSW R68 and R64 specification
· Understanding of civil road works
· Commercial and contractual acumen
· Previous Australian experience
· Proven ability to communicate effectively to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders
· Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
· Have practical, hands on approach
· Exceptional understanding of OHS legislation, principles, and practice
