Project Manager - Wireless Communications Infrastructure

CompanyThis multi-national company holds the enviable reputation as being a global leader in the design, manufacture, and deployment of mission critical communications technology for remote site environments.The company manufactures their own two way radio equipment, but also works as an integrator, managing the full end to end delivery and completion for infrastructure design and builds for WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS technology.OpportunityThe role of Project Manager has now become available based out of the Melbourne office due to the ongoing growth of the business and the acquiring of major projects across Australia.The prime responsibility will be to systematically plan, manage and coordinate selected projects across the business. Through this you will take on:

• Total ownership on the deliverables of each project undertaken
• Management over all key aspects including operational, finance, technical and logistics
• Indirect management over a team of engineers, admin and operational staff
• Management over cost control and monitoring expected margin level targets
• Direct client interaction face to face and remotely, dealing with multiple stakeholders

Project TypesYou will work across a range of verticals including government departments at all levels, emergency services, public safety, public transport, utilities, mining and construction.Required CriteriaThe desired criteria is listed below:

• Ideally experience working within two way radio, or a related communications sector, where you have been exposed to the deployment of private mobile radio networks.
• Project management experience, where total ownership over project delivery has been required.
• End to end project management experience deploying COMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE projects.
• Career ambition with a desire to progress and be a part of the executive team.
• The ability to work on multiple projects and manage multi-facets of complex solutions.
• Experience working hands on with clients both in the field and remotely.
• The ability to manage a variety of stakeholders and complex relationships internally and externally.
