We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee multiple sites concurrently, ensuring seamless execution and successful completion of each project.
About the role:
A thrilling opportunity awaits for a seasoned Project Manager - Project Delivery to become part of their team, contributing to the successful delivery of diverse infrastructure projects for Local and State Governments across QLD and WA.
Key responsibilities:
• Accountable for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, encompassing business case development, planning, design, construction, and project handover for complex infrastructure projects.
• This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional travel as necessary.
The Project Manager will be accountable for:
• Overseeing project deliverables, schedules, costs, quality, governance, and risk profiles across various infrastructure projects.
• Managing contractual and commercial relationships both internally and for clients.
• Conducting site inspections on an as-needed basis.
• Supervising day-to-day site activities and coordinating construction efforts among all involved parties.
• Engaging with stakeholders and team members to track project progress, deliverables, and expectations.
• Assisting the team in crafting tenders and proposals for potential clients.
• Establishing and enhancing internal and external governance frameworks.
• Operating independently with minimal oversight from senior management.
• Ensuring project success and desired outcomes.
• Meeting critical program milestones or promptly reporting any deviations, along with recommended corrective measures for successful project or contract outcomes.
• Timely execution of procurement activities to prevent project delays.
• Efficient and accurate financial management of all contracts.
• Upholding value for money and best practices in project and contract execution.
• Optimising resource utilisation and fund management while fulfilling program requirements.
• Adhering to relevant legislation and client procedures.
• Identifying areas for process and procedural enhancement to improve outcomes for the company and its clients.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in project management, construction management or engineering.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Project Management role.
- Strong project reporting and budgeting skills essential.
- Strong project acumen in project planning and management.
- Capable of managing complex stakeholder and client interfaces.
- Capable of handling multiple projects at once.
- High level of, and attention to detail in preparing quality project documentation.
- Past exposure and knowledge around NDIS construction considered favourable.
