The Project Air Strategy is an internationally recognised mental health initiative within the School of Psychology at the University of Wollongong. It involves a research strategy and clinical approach to managing complex, high risk individuals with personality disorder and associated complex mental health challenges. The project develops new research on models of care within government and non-government agencies.
Working in the Project Air unit, this position will support the Project Air Strategy's work with health and education staff, family carer and consumer groups, patients of the health service, young people in schools, and the Project Air Clinic.
The Project Officer is responsible for providing high quality and efficient administration services and coordination to Project Air operations, including office coordination, clinical trial support, and coordinating digital platforms which support critical programs and initiatives aimed at ensuring the project deliverable are met.
You will be an excellent writer and communicator, who can learn new systems and processes quickly. The project is growing interactive ways to deliver resources, connect teams, and enhance skills and tools for mental health workers and their clients. The Project Officer's portfolio will include ensuring the accuracy and legitimacy of data and privacy, and ensuring procedures adhere to professional, ethical and legal standards of data security.
