ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Project Officer role will focus on supporting initiatives aimed at fostering cultural understanding, respect, and collaboration within our organisation and with Indigenous communities.
The Project Officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project schedules, and ensure the timely completion of project milestones while maintaining high-quality standards.
If you have the following skills and experience, we’d love to chat:
- Knowledge or training equivalent to a relevant Certificate IV and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education /training.
- Experience in the management and execution of projects as either a coordinator or project administrator.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities, and excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and a commitment to continuous quality improvement with the ability to examine information and recommend an appropriate course of action.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to contribute to projects to achieve contemporary, fit for purpose, innovative and timely outputs.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and the capacity to work under pressure, prioritising and completing critical tasks accurately and within required timeframes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders to achieve satisfactory outcomes to complex issues and work well under pressure.
- Demonstrated advanced organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities, and excellent attention to detail.
- Competent in the use of a variety of software to support work outcomes such as Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and Dynamics CRM.
- This role is designated as Indigenous Identified as it is intended to constitute a special measure under s 8 (1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth) and s 57 (1) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 (NT). Furthermore, under s 35 (1) (b) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 (NT), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
