The East Arnhem Land Youth Model (EALYM) is an innovative and community led program, which empowers local communities to design and deliver initiatives and activities aimed at improving the wellbeing of young people in their communities.
In this role, you will be working in collaboration with the Community Services Division to support the implementation and creation of the Youth Voices Strategy in communities in East Arnhem land.
What does your everyday responsibilities look?
- Build & maintain strong working relationships Yolŋu staff, Leadership Groups and Activity Supervisors.
- Facilitate practical and sustainable initiatives that empower young people in decision-making processes.
- Establish new and maintain existing partnerships with appropriate stakeholders and organisations.
- Travel to beautiful communities in East Arnhem Land.
