About Your Opportunity
As a Project Officer in Sustaining Capital you will be a key project team member, supporting Project Managers with the successful delivery of our program of works, through investment planning, procurement, pre-construction, delivery and commissioning phases. You will manage project support and project control activities in accordance with Project Management Operating Manual and associated project management and governance procedures and engage with key stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key responsibilities:
- Provide Project Managers with key documentation and Seqwater process requirements.
- Manage the support and project and program controls functions for assigned programs of work, including:
- Building capability and ensuring compliance with Records Management (HP Content Manager) and Document Control processes
- Cost Control, including reviewing invoices, tracking and reporting expenditure and budget performance through Planisware.
- Manage routine procurement activities.
- Coordinate project team members task assignments and outcomes reporting.
- Maintaining risk registers and coordinating risk reviews
- Coordinating and reporting project change including preparing and/or collating project change requests
- Contract Administration of low risk contracts
- Maintaining project action and decision registers
- Prepare and present timely reports for project performance against cost and schedule and accurately forecast.
- Author and review reports, presentations, documents, and correspondence related to project and program works, including technical documents.
- Coordinate project related meetings/briefings/workshops with both internal and external participants, including preparation of documents, coordination of attendees and recording of minute
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Essentials
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in a complex project environment
- Experience in managing the successful delivery of projects and work packages.
- Class C Driver's License.
Desirables
- Project Management, Engineering or relevant technical qualifications (Tertiary or Advanced Diploma level)
- Experience within the water industry
This position has a salary starting at $104,668 - $115,102 plus superannuation and is an Fixed term contract until the end of December 2025.
