Working within the Office of the Deputy-Director General (Finance) team, you will support business areas across the State with financial functions. You will also participate in projects that support the delivery of consistent, effective and efficient regional business support that ensures the Division complies with departmental frameworks policies and financial procedures, including grant management and selfaudits, where required.

The Project Officer, AO4 is a role in which you will:

• Co-ordinate and maintain with a high level of integrity, the state-wide systems used to register financial arrangements, including grant agreements, and generate, maintain and reconcile associated funding where relevant. • Undertake financial investigations, including compliance reviews, and provide administrative governance advice and guidance as required.

• Maintain a high level of quality in the performance of all duties, ensuring adherence to processes and systems, continually seeking improvements in the way in which work is undertaken.

• Negotiate and consult with managers and staff to ensure the efficient delivery of financial administration matters, as well as other departmental business.

• Provide accurate communication to key stakeholders on project administration, financial responsibility and related matters.

• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
