THE ROLE
Are You:
- Ideally experienced within the community housing sector with a proven track record of delivering large scale, fast-tracked social infrastructure projects?
- Able to conceptualise an idea and turn the idea into a deliverable that meet business needs?
- Open to new ideas; show initiative; proactive and self-starting; seizes opportunities and acts upon them?
- Strong in analytical thinking and comfortable dealing with high levels of complexity?
- Able to build and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders?
The Project Officers in the Housing Development Branch will place a key role in providing support services to the project team who are focused on delivering the Government's agenda of increasing access to affordable housing for Victorians. The role will contribute to a variety of complex projects at the development and delivery phases, the procurement of contracted services and products, reporting and ongoing process improvement.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Support the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including project development and delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
