About the role:
Our Explosive Ordnance Services team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for growth.
We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for a Project Officer Logistics. This role offers a chance to contribute to ongoing development and growth of business processes, focusing on continuous improvement in warehousing, storage, distribution, transportation, and inventory management within the supply chain.
Perform logistics support, including collecting logistics intelligence, determining supply capabilities and requirements, and managing life-cycle supply requirements
Leading logistics support for projects and major activities, ensuring compliance with regulations
Planning and executing logistics projects, maintaining detailed documentation
Supervising milestones, tasks, and timelines for successful project implementation
Providing reports and briefing papers on operations
Interstate travel in support of project activities
How About You?
Diploma of Business (or higher) in Logistic Management or equivalent
Demonstrated logistics management experience
Accountability, decision-making skills, and the ability to influence others
Previous experience within Defence / Logistics is highly desirable
