Seeking an experienced Project Officer / Manager to join a department ASAP working across 2 office locations Your new company A government department based South of Perth CBD, are seeking an experienced Project Officer to support two office locations. Initially, this role will be offered on a 6-month temporary contract, with a likely extension offered should all go well. You will be required to work full-time hours, and ideally will be able to start immediately after a successful interview. Your new role As the Project Officer / Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Project team by:
Managing a program of works related to office accomodation retrofits and facility modifications in occupied buildings
Supporting every stage of a project from development, initiation and refurbishment to new and existing properties
Develop internal project management documents
Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders around project requirements and milestones
What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered, you will have:
Previous experience working in a project-related role, within building, construction or facilities management
Previous experience in stakeholder engagement, with confidence in consulting others around project related issues / matters
An understanding of change management processes and principles would be beneficial
Advanced organisation skills
Availability to commence in the next 4-weeks
