A government department based South of Perth CBD, are seeking an experienced Project Officer to support two office locations. Initially, this role will be offered on a 6-month temporary contract, with a likely extension offered should all go well. You will be required to work full-time hours, and ideally will be able to start immediately after a successful interview.Your new role
As the Project Officer / Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Project team by:- Managing a program of works related to office accomodation retrofits and facility modifications in occupied buildings
- Supporting every stage of a project from development, initiation and refurbishment to new and existing properties
- Develop internal project management documents
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders around project requirements and milestones
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered, you will have:- Previous experience working in a project-related role, within building, construction or facilities management
- Previous experience in stakeholder engagement, with confidence in consulting others around project related issues / matters
- An understanding of change management processes and principles would be beneficial
- Advanced organisation skills
- Availability to commence in the next 4-weeks
