Salary- Contract: 6 months (high possibility of extension)
- Location: Work from home and Paramatta office 2/3days.
- Rate: $55-$65 P/H + Super.
- The Project Officer performs project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives.
- This role is integral in managing and implementing a range of projects, which help to improve the government agencies service delivery and operations and contribute to promoting better outcomes for individuals, families, groups and communities across NSW.
- Project support and coordination across various projects in the health/ageing/disability sectors.
- Stakeholder engagement to deliver work against clearly set out project plans/connect with people externally.
- Support on a project involving training development and designing some online training modules.
- Research/support in finding information for work across other business units in the government agency.
- Support in running a large event that the government agency is taking part in with another government agency towards the end of the financial year
About you:
- You have proven experience as a Project officer in the public sector and/or Health or age-care related experience is a must.
- You have previous experience supporting various teams and projects they are working on.
- Experience in all projects such as stakeholder engagement, research and training as well as an event is an advantage.
- You have excellent communication and writing skills.
- You are proficient across all Microsoft Office such as Excel, Powerpoint etc.
- You are organised, adaptable and possess the ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team.
- You will be driven and keen to help out and get results.
