Project OfficerNeeds and Planning

Location | Flexible – Armidale, Erina, Newcastle, or Tamworth  
Hours | Full-time (1.0FTE, 38 hours/week)

Annual full-time equivalent salary | $89,352- $97,189 + super + salary packaging*

About the role
The Project OfficerNeeds and Planning will develop, coordinate and undertake specialised needs -based consultations with communities through the collection, validation and analysing of population health and services across the PHN region, assisting to identify priority health needs, populations and system shortcomings and inequity in the rural parts of region.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant health related field and/or experience in health service planning, population health, or project management in a health setting;
  • A clear understanding of population health, health service delivery and primary health care
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and research skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently, set objectives and deliver results within appropriate timeframes
  • Demonstrated high quality verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, e.g. focus groups, community consultation about health needs, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of contemporary information technology and computer applications

Additional Information

*Salary: This role is classified as Grade I – M  within our Enterprise Agreement and the rate will be dependent on skills and experience/qualifications. New appointments are generally between grade I – K. 
 
The current PHN policy requires employees to have received 3 Primary doses of an approved COVID-19 Vaccination.
