About the Role
National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Project Officer to work as part of the team based in Oberon and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and aboriginal heritage of NSW.
The Project Officer is responsible for providing diverse project management services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation, implementing and monitoring project plans.
About You
As a Project Officer you are adept at managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with inter-connected teams, and across multiple organisations. Ideally, you have exposure to high-volume work within a large complex organisation or similar.
In addition to your strong verbal and written communication skills, you will have proven ability to work with stakeholders to achieve program and project outcomes whilst exercising sound judgement and discretion.
Experience with writing Environmental Assessments and managing flood repairs to roads and other infrastructure would be beneficial.
Essential Requirements
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in project management.
- Experience in development and delivery of projects, including the development of project plans, monitoring of project timelines, budgets and reporting requirements, and contract administration.
