- $83,879 pa + super (up to 12%) + leave loading
Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 4 of EBA5 - 9 day fortnight
- 72.5 hour fortnight
- Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.

About our opportunity
The Technical Operations team, as part of the Asset Maintenance group, manage the maintenance and renewal of the roads, drains and utilities assets across the City of Moreton Bay region.
As a Project Officer in the team, you'll be planning and coordinating capital and renewal projects, including compiling tender documentation and technical reports for consideration by stakeholders. You'll be:
- Scoping capital and renewal projects; reviewing & modification of pre-design drawings, approvals, and procurement
- Building high level relationships to provide infrastructure planning, technical and project advice including monitoring, commissioning, and handover coordination
- Supporting the Team leader to deliver and implement agreed programs and projects
- Developing and maintaining a level of technical expertise relating to Asset renewal and Maintenance.
The team are currently based at the Petrie Depot and will relocate to our brand new, purpose built Narangba Depot in the coming months.
About you
Bring your experience civil infrastructure maintenance and construction, and your investigative, analytical and research skills, as well as your:
- Time management and project management skills and experience
- Experience in a broad range of technical applications relevant to project delivery
- Experience building high quality relationships with a range of internal & external stakeholders.
- ability to work constructively in a team environment
- Certificate III in Civil Construction, Project Management or relevant field or relevant experience
- Construction Induction Card competency (required, or willing to obtain at own expense)
- Current C class driver’s licence (required).
