The Project Officer Telephony role is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver VEC's cloud first telephony and mobility solutions to meet business-as-usual (BAU) and election event requirements. This role is a key member of the IT Operations & Service team within the Information and Digital Services (IDS) branch.
What you will be doingReporting directly to the IT Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for:
End-to-end support of telephony services and solutions for business-as-usual and election events, including the delivery of training.
Ongoing billing, reconciliation, cost, project and asset management for all of VEC's telephony services and equipment.
Identifying telephony requirements for election events and BAU, managing procurement and developing supporting documentation.
What you will bring to the role
Demonstrated experience in the knowledge and delivery of high-quality telephony solutions, services and equipment
Technical expertise in telephony and unified communications including Microsoft Teams, VoIP, Call Centre and peripheral devices
Demonstrated experience in procurement and cost administration
Strong project management skills with experience in training delivery
High-level verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced business environment
