Our Works Planning & Contract Delivery group is focused on delivering a safe and reliable electricity network and play a key role in building and maintaining Ausgrid’s network.

Your new role
Join us to support and optimise the performance and reliability of the organisations network.
Reporting to the Senior Project Officer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of contracts, including coordinating and managing projects in Vegetation Management.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Safe, efficient delivery of allocated work programs in line with achieving Business and Customer outcomes.
- Establish and maintain functional business relationships with external customers and other stakeholders and take action in line with business requirements.
- Effectively manage programs and contracts ensuring compliance to target/plan in regard to all metrics.

Energise us through your skills and qualifications in:
- Proven experience and technical expertise gained in a relevant trade; or experience in an engineering related or technical role; within the electricity distribution or relevant industry.
- Advanced Diploma in an electrical or relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent).
- Class C Drivers Licence.
- Sound knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations and procedures such as safe working practices, network standards and codes of practice.
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking or managing multiple tasks and / or projects and prioritising activities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience working within a team environment to effectively deliver projects or work outcomes within appropriate time frames and costs.
- Demonstrated experience liaising with a variety of stakeholders, including the resolution of complaints / issues.
- Experience in monitoring costs and financial impacts across work activities, projects or programs of work.
- Intermediate computer skills with experience in a variety of software packages, tools, hardware or general applications.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of both written and system based project / work activity documentation.
- Proven experience in problem solving and the identification or implementation of solutions.
