Aps5 Project Officer

This Federal Government agency based in Surry Hills is currently seeking an Experienced APS5 Project Officer on a Part Time basis (2 days per week) for 6 months. Working within a Strategic team who’s aim is to reduce health implications on those across Australia.Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Offering assistance with project coordination, procurement, and management of budgets.
• Managing contracts, which includes overseeing and evaluating the outputs from external groups/organisations.
• Evaluation and monitoring of evidence to aid in the formulation of best practice guidelines.
• Supporting initiatives for health communication.
• Creating well-prepared plans, reports, and briefing documents.
• Ensuring project outcomes align with organisational policies and procedures.
• Arranging meetings and performing secretarial tasks.
• Communicating with both internal and external stakeholders

Your profile will demonstrate:

• An understanding of strategic goals
• Proven success in achieving outcomes whilst collaborating with the wider team
• Stakeholder management and confidentiality
• Promoting ethical behaviours and following code of conduct
• Previous APS experience
• Strong communication and organisation experience
• Must be able to complete and maintain a clear police check
• Australian citizenship (mandatory).
