About the Opportunity:
With over two billion dollars' worth of work in hand and a healthy pipeline of future projects ahead, our western region is experiencing an exciting period of growth. To help support this growth, we seek to bring several suitably experienced Project Quality Assurance Manager into our business to work on major projects in Perth.
As the Project Quality Assurance Manager, you will report directly to the Project Director and provide support and guidance to ensure compliance with the quality management plan across projects.
Key accountabilities for the position:
Drive commitment to quality and performance improvement
Implement training of personnel and conduct training & pre-construction forums
Coordinate inspection, testing and monitoring activity to meet quality conformance
Undertake internal and external audits and develop and maintain inspection records
Guide Project Managers and Supervisors with their responsibilities in regards to Quality
Initiate suitability of corrective or preventive action to eliminate existing or potential causes of non-conformance
Required Skills and Competencies
Capability & Experience you will need to have:
Qualifications in Engineering or relevant field
Preferably 5 -7 years' experience in the construction industry or project work
Strong knowledge of Australia industry quality control legislation and standards
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
