In this role there are 2 main responsibility areas as below:
Sentence and Case Management Framework:
- Collaborate with wider teams to develop evidenced-based, fit-for-purpose prisoner Case Management, sentence management and rehabilitation models and operational frameworks for SQCP S2 outcomes including priority groups such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and offenders with a disability.
- Consider current End-to-End Case Management functionalities to ensure wraparound service within SQCP-S2 with both internal parties and external service providers.
- Provide strategic evidence-based, fit-for-purpose advice to the Operations Project Control Group ensuring functional alignment to the strategic objectives and priorities of QCS and SQCP-S2.
- Lead complex data-collection, research, analysis, and consultation that informs the development of management frameworks that will deliver as-intended SQCP S2 service delivery recommendations and performance measures.
- Liaise with other project streams to ensure functional and framework connections, overlaps or anomalies in as-recommended service delivery models are managed prior to testing and final implementation
- Work with other project delivery and Corporate service teams to build artefacts supporting implementation, such as training programs, online content, communications, change management, HR / ER documents, and similar
Framework Delivery:
- Support the Project Director to lead and co-ordinate the delivery of assigned functional work packages within specified project timeframes, all the while ensuring outcomes align with strategic, QCS and SQCP directives.
- Develop and implement project management principles, practices, document management, methodologies, registers, and tools, to facilitate effective project delivery as per QCS frameworks.
- Effectively identify and manage risks and issues to ensure successful delivery of project outcomes and initiatives can be achieved.
- Track, monitor, and report on the Project status and outcomes to schedule, as well as highlighting scope deviations and association rectification / mitigation plans
- Provide high level support on the management and resolution of complex Project issues through effective consultation with stakeholders at all levels, both internal / external to QCS and the project.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate delivery of the project outcomes.
- Prepare reports, briefing notes, and presentations on designated project outcomes, findings, risks and recommendations.
- Team leader ensuring effective use and management of human and financial resources to deliver project remit in a high performance culture, safe, and commercially sustainable manner.
