With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and safety, they deliver high-quality projects that make a positive impact on communities and the environment.As the Project Risk Manager, the successful candidate will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and managing Project Risks to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team, contribute to the success of high-profile projects, and drive continuous improvement in risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Project Risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, assess, and prioritise Project Risks, including schedule delays, cost overruns, quality issues, and safety hazards.
- Work closely with project teams to develop risk mitigation plans and monitor their implementation.
- Conduct risk workshops and meetings with stakeholders to facilitate risk identification and resolution.
- Provide regular reports and updates on Project Risk status to project managers, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Review and evaluate project contracts, specifications, and designs to identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal departments, subcontractors, and external consultants to address Project Risks and ensure compliance with risk management requirements.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements in Project Risk management.
- Support the development of risk management tools, templates, and training materials for project teams.
- Foster a culture of risk awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organisation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Project Risk management within the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in risk management tools and software.
- Certification in risk management (e.g., PMI-RMP, PRINCE2 Risk Management) is desirable.
