Project Software Specialist

Location: Alstonville – Flexible Office / WFH
Hours per week: 21 hours casual
North Coast Regional Landcare Network (NCRLN) has several projects currently being designed and/or delivered across various themes including habitat restoration, riparian restoration, private land conservation and regenerative farming.
Reporting to the Regional Project/Operations Manager (RPOM), the position will undertake all aspects of establishing project management software to meet specific project requirements and train users.
The position must work collaboratively with the NCRLN team and Executive, Local Landcare Coordinators, Landcare Groups, Government organisations and stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
- Configure project management tools to support project activities efficiently.
- Oversee project budgets, administration, and reporting.
- Ensure smooth communication with external stakeholders and contractors.
- Collaborate with software service providers to meet project requirements.
Key Challenges:
- Identifying and implementing suitable software solutions for diverse project needs.
- Developing and optimising software tools to enhance project management.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the RPOM and adhere to organisational guidelines.
- Deliver project outcomes promptly and in line with best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of organisational and client information.
- Keep accurate records of work hours and distances traveled.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
- Tertiary professional qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Strong project management abilities.
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Desirable:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with GIS Mapping tools.
