Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Supervisor with an Electrical Engineering or Fitter background to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electrical engineering/ fitting and project management skills to oversee and coordinate various projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Switchboard design.
- Plan and schedule project activities, including purchases, resource allocation, and procurement of materials.
- Supplier negotiations and maintain profitable margins
- Ensure equipment is in line with each project’s requirements
- Conduct site inspections, client testing, and deliveries to client’s sites and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates for management and clients.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and clients to facilitate project success.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of electrical fitting and project supervision.
- Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards in electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and coordination.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a challenging environment.
- Electrical engineering or electrical fitter qualified.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Competent in AutoCAD LT
- Exposure to Galaxy and TM Designer
