About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position within the Project Delivery Team. The primary responsibility of the role is to provide a comprehensive Project Support service to the Infrastructure Services Directorate, specifically- Major Projects Business Unit.
Some of the core functions include:
- Support the Shire's Project Delivery Business Unit and Design Team to deliver Civil Infrastructure and Building capital projects.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Directorate in all aspects involved with project delivery.
- Support the business unit with the preparation of capital works schedules, monitor design/construction progress and prepare regular progress reports.
- Work with the project team on field inspections as required and contract management.
- Liaise with Finance Department regarding project invoicing.
- Liaise with preferred suppliers regarding project specific enquiries as instructed by Manager/Project Leads.
- Liaise with Community Services, Operations and Communication Teams for the preparation of project public notices.
- Coordinate and minute take Project Tracking meetings as required.
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team, contractors, consultants and Finance/Contracts teams as required.
About you
You are an experienced and motivated administration Support Officer with buildings and engineering experience. Your excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills will allow you to provide highest level support to the project team. Experience in grant funding administration support will be favourable.

The Shire is committed to the long-term happiness of our team and offer a salary of up to $80,000.00 per annum (dependent on skills and experience).
