Address PROJECT SUPPORT OFFICER - Part Time (0.5 FTE)Circular Head Council is seeking to appoint a part time Project Support Officer for a 2-year Fixed Term Contract.The Project Support Officer is to assist the Director of Infrastructure and Development Services with the delivery of projects from inception to completion.The Officer will provide Project Support services to assist senior staff and management in the planning, coordination and delivery of project activities and outputs. The Officer will assist staff with the development, management and implementation of initiatives and programs to deliver projects.
You will need:• Certificate IV in Project Management or relevant discipline or substantial relevant work experience applicable to the position• The ability to utilise contemporary computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.• Demonstrated organisational and coordination skills with a capacity to work collaboratively as a member of a team, as well as working independently.• Proven ability to undertake research, collate and interpret data, and assist in the preparation of high-quality documentation such as project plans, business cases, reports, correspondence, agendas, and minutes.• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of procurement practices and contracts utilising project management principles or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge and understanding.
