About the roles
Provide Finance, Business Management and Project Management services to manage, finalise and close two Projects in a large government agency.
Provide Strategic Business Advice, Program and Product Management Support and Project Management Services, to establish a new organisational construct and operating model.
Duties will include some of the key components below
- Provide financial management, budget preparation.
- Management of project related scope, schedule, milestones/deliverables, costs, commitments and expenses.
- Understand and provide advice on project management, business management and financial management matters relating to the projects being closed.
- Apply financial management knowledge and undertake objective and systematic analysis of financial records.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with project team members and key stakeholders in other areas. Finance Group, etc. and actively participate in team work and group activities.
- Interpret legislative, policy and regulatory project and financial management frameworks.
- Develop a Senior Executive Sponsors Paper and Business Plan for the initial implementation of the new function.
- A minimum of 8 years’ practical experience within their specialist area.
- SME Specialist or related qualification.
- SME Specialist or related qualification at undergraduate, postgraduate and/or masters level – Desirable.
- Experience in Defence or large Government Department within the SME specialist area- Highly Desirable.
- Experience in Corporate environment within the SME specialist area – Highly Desirable.
- Sound stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in complex SME related projects and/or product management.
NV1 or NV2 essential
