About the role
We currently have an incredible opportunity available to utilise your influential Leadership and Facilities Management experience in a dynamic and innovative team based at our Wembley location. As Projects and Estates Lead, reporting to the Facilities and Services Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing key service contractors, responsible for the delivery of capital projects, minor works and the management ket support service contracts across the broad MercyCare Facilities Portfolio.
The role requires a strong contractor management focus across works in Landscaping and Grounds, Security Patrols, Pest Control, Access Control/CCTV and other similar contracts. There will be travel required around the Metro region as and when required.
About you
The successful applicant will thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same and multiple deadlines and objectives require an organised and strategic approach. Your previous leadership experience will put you in good stead to engage your team with purpose and vision, and manage performance and delivery whilst creating a cohesive, diverse and inclusive team environment that aligns with MercyCare values.
Your previous contractor management experience and understanding of the nuances that accompany the oversight of multiple projects in the facilities space will see you to success in this role.
You will also have the following:
- Relevant Diploma level education is desirable
- Experience managing multiple projects within the facilities environment
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent Planning and Time Management
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Resilience to manage multiple deadlines
- COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but not required
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
- Drivers License
