You will be responsible for working closely with others to oversee the delivery of contracts, while managing Project Officers with a wide variety of skillsets to deliver on our strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Coordinating work programs for the delivery of professional services, including scheduling and assigning tasks to Project Officers and contractors and ensuring technical accuracy and adequacy.
Maintaining full understanding of obligations of formally assigned delivery contracts ensuring complete and timely delivery.
Ensuring programs are implemented in accordance with approved plans and are executed in accordance with company and customer requirements.
Collaborating across the business to ensure appropriate technical expertise is considered to support the achievement of highest quality standards of project delivery.
Participating in program development and planning with other Projects Leads, and Programs Lead.
Ensuring appropriate monitoring, evaluation, reporting and improvement (MERI) processes for contacted and internal initiatives for continuous improvement trajectory.

Selection criteria
To be successful in this role you will need to:
Tertiary qualifications with either transferrable project management expertise in any industry, or with a background in NRM.
Be experienced in leading multiple complex projects with a range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated aptitude in operating a computer using Microsoft 365 suite and program management systems to plan, schedule, and track multiple programs of work.
Possess a strong ability and experience in leading a capable and diverse team.
Demonstrated skills in working with landholders, contractors and various stakeholders to achieve company and customer objectives.
Demonstrated experience in supporting the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation programs, including data collection and reporting to demonstrate outcomes delivered.
Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with influence, to a diverse client base including landholders, industry groups, Government and contractors.
Strong attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy and timeliness, and with limited re-work.
An ability to proactively manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across the organisation to achieve positive business outcomes.
Proven track record of displaying a growth mindset in previous roles, with examples of facing challenges, embracing learning opportunities, and continuous improvement.

The Projects Lead is preferably located in Southern Queensland with offices in Toowoomba, Charleville, Roma, and St George, however, for the right candidate, this could be negotiable across our region. Relocation and accommodation assistance may be available.
