The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Property Accountant to join our highly regarded Property Management Retail team. Reporting to the Strategic Account Director, you will provide assistance in the financial/management accounting for a retail portfolio of entities for a key client account. This is a dynamic role working closely with the centre staff supporting their needs and providing the analysis required.
Here's what you'll focus on:
- Monthly reporting of management Accounts in an accurate & timely manner
- Review and analysis of property performance
- Ensure compliance to accounting policies and procedures
- 'SME' and trusted advisor for internal and external customers of allocated portfolio
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
- Dealing with incoming queries and requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Providing assistance to the client with scheduled audits
- Participate in Process Improvement Initiatives
- Assisting Global Processing Centre (GPC) team with issue resolution
Here are strengths you'll possess and the background you'll need to be successful;
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA/CA or studying towards it
- Previous experience within retail property accounting is highly advantageous or commercial accounting
- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management and organisational skills to be able to thrive in a busy environment
- Superior communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
- A positive attitude and flexible approach to work
